Picture Update

Ireland made Caleb and True their own house in his room after daddy made the big one in her room...Caleb slept in this thing 3 nights and loved it!
The house daddy made for all the children...True sleeps in it everyday at nap and night time. I'm thinking of bringing out the finger paints soon to decorate.

Big boy Noble
Cuddle time

These two have decided playing in the crib is much more fun when its in Calebs room rather than the girls.

Sweet boy again :)I hope all my readers are doing well and are healthy! I hope nobody was offended at my last post (which I'm changing due to some paranoia in some of my family, whom I love)...please know we are not crazy!

Guns N Roses

No, I am not talking about the band, but this past Valentines Day weekend. Though we are not big on Valentines day, we do enjoy any excuse to have a date and give gifts when we can!

It started out with Mark bringing Ireland and my mother beautiful single roses Friday. Saturday morning he had flowers waiting for me and I had his gifts (that he was not expecting) waiting for him.

I bought some targets that I thought he could hang up and begin helping Ireland practice her shot with the bb gun he gave her four years ago. He was very surprised and seemed to really like the gifts.

He then surprised me with a lunch date by having my mom come and watch the three older children while we went and ate at Macaroni Grill. Besides Noble being a little fussy (this was the beginning of him and I getting sick), we had a delicious lunch and a great time reconnecting.

That was when he gave me a lovely gift of the Ruth ring from James Avery. I have always loved their jewelry and especially love this ring! It says "Whither thou goest, I will follow" in Hebrew, which means a lot to me as that is exactly how I feel and believe of my dear husband.

One Other Thing

Noble is begging me for my food and he's only 4.5 months! He's also getting up on his knees when he's on his tummy and looking determined to go somewhere. Where has my baby gone? I am so sad!

I am going to do my best to keep him solely breastfed till at least 6 months...if he'll let me. Seriously though, I was eating my dinner of grilled chicken a couple of nights ago and he was crying in my lap. So I put the meat in front of him and he stopped crying, GRABBED IT and pushed it towards his mouth.

I think its my turn to cry...

Quick Update

This week has been full of fun in the sun and very busy! Besides the night we had to wake the children up around 9:30 to get in the bathtub since the sirens were blaring for tornadoes. Thankfully, none touched down near our home and everyone went back to bed fine. Oh the joys of living in Texas!

We have been to the park at least 4 times already and are going again this afternoon during Ireland's piano practice and tomorrow with a homeschool group in my area. The weather has been beautiful and we are taking as much of it in as we can.

Dear hubby has been working on my 3 gardens (4x8 raised beds) with the children when he gets home at night. He just has to build the fence around them to keep the dog out and I can begin to plant. At least I think I can...I have yet received the seeds I've ordered and I think I'm already late. So we'll see?

He also switched out the childrens beds one night, which was a pretty big project. True's crib requires being taken apart and the doors to the rooms taken off in order to fit it through the doors. He put the crib and twin in the boys room so when Noble is older he will sleep in there. Then put the full size bed in the girls room for them to share.

Not only did we have to switch the beds, but lots of cleaning and organizing came with it. That is still being worked on! I do feel good at least with the boys rooms as I was able to fit all of Calebs toys in his small toy box, and all of True's toys in a small wicker basket. So we are good there!

Today we went to the mall to play in the play area as we were supposed to be meeting with the diaper free group I've met online. Only one mom showed up as we were leaving...but the children still had a good time.

We then went to Wal-Mart and I thoroughly enjoyed the awesome deals I was able to get on my veggies! We had received adds from a local (not so local as I actually know where they are located though) hispanic supermarket with amazing prices on veggies.

So since Wal-Mart matches the prices...I was able to get 5lbs of onions & 5lbs of tomatoes for $.99! 10lbs of potatoes for $3! 6 avacados for $1! I just love deals like this...they make my day!

So now, we will take naps and go to piano / park when everyone wakes up.

I promise moms...I will do a picture update soon...

Latest House Project

So when our dishwasher died a couple of years ago, we let it sit and take up space until my dear friend Shea told me that it was probably growing mold spores that we were breathing in. I told my sweet hubby and he took it out that weekend.

I then decided that since I am so used to washing dishes by hand, and actually prefer it; we could use that space for some storage space. We have a limited amount of kitchen cabinets so this seems like the perfect solution.

Plus, my grandmother gave me her china years ago but I never brought it home as I never had any place to put it. Now I do!

So now I have three shelves that my dear hubby built and I sewed up a little curtain to go over it. I'm very happy with the results...

Space before...

Space after...Thank you sweetheart for making this happen! :)
