I pray to be this kind of wife...
"A true wife makes a man's life nobler, stronger, grander, by the omnipotence of her love 'turning all the forces of manhood upward and heavenward.' While she clings to him in holy confidence and loving dependence she brings out in him whatever is noblest and richest in his being. She inspires him with her courage and earnestness. She beautifies his life. She softens whatever is rude and harsh in his habits or his spirit. She clothes him with the gentler graces of refined and cultured manhood. While she yields to him and never disregards his lightest wish, she is really his queen, ruling his whole life and leading him onward and upward in every proper path. -JR Miller

The Move
I know I have been so bad at updating as of late. As most of my readers know, we moved about three or four weeks ago, so things have been quite busy around here. The last time I moved there were only three of us. This time we were more than double and I could definitely tell! Thankfully we had plenty of help to load and unload praise the Lord.
The first day we moved in all of our surrounding neighbors came to introduce themselves, bringing us home made breads throughout the week, making us feel so welcomed. There is a homeschool family across the street from us and two doors away as well. It is amazing how tight nit of a group everyone here seems to be. I am blown away by it.
I still cannot get over having more than one place to choose where I can put things. The kitchen cabinets are not overflowing and many are still empty...absolutely amazing! The children are having so much fun playing outside all the time. They have never played outside as much in their life as they have the past few weeks. Even Noble can enjoy the fun! Every night the children go toad hunting and are always so excited to show me what they find. I am wondering if this hunting will ever grow old for them?

The second week we were here we had my 94 year old grandmother stay a few days. We really enjoyed having her over and I think she enjoyed us. She definitely got a lot of kisses and hugs from our children. We were very happy to have her share in celebrating True turning three...that was a great blessing to have her here! Here we are playing domino's...she is beating me!

Last week I finally finished organizing the school / play / craft & sewing room for the most part. There are still more things to do, but at least now it is in a workable environment. I am so thankful to have this space and look forward to using it!
This past week I have been finalizing our schedule and finishing up our chore packs for our day to day routine. It is crazy how little the children have done since moving as I did not have this completed before our move. Plus so many things have changed since we have this new home, new chores and responsibilities for all. I am looking forward to this upcoming week to implement everything and get back to more of a schedule. I know Ireland has really enjoyed her free time, but its coming to a screeching halt on Monday when we face the reality again of keeping up a home and school!
Once I have time, I'll post some pics of the inside of the house if I ever get around to taking them!
All in all, we are feeling so incredibly blessed. God has truly been good to us. The beauty of God's creation I enjoy every time I look out our windows, drive down the road to town, is just amazing. I am LOVING all the green around me!
(The first picture up top is a view from the front of our house, looking down our street...I think it is just so pretty. In it, Ireland and my grandmother are taking a walk).
